SCHEDIA proposes a hybrid AI-based solution to improve planning and the response to unforeseen events.

HAZITEK 2022-2023 Project
ROBOTISATION OF THE CONNECTOR TO DRIVER ASSEMBLY PROCESS IN VEHICLE LIGHTING
The aim of this project is to design innovative solutions for Gureak to reinforce its positioning as an expert function cable supplier, providing connectors to allow its customers to automate the process of connecting cables to different types of driver. Specifically, the project works on two ways of providing a solution to different current issues:
- Floating driver connector to help automate driver assembly, allowing a certain play in their positioning without affecting the functionality of the connection.
- Sealed PCB connector to allow automation of connection without any need for subsequent welding processes.

CDTI project
APPLICATION FOR CONDUCTIVE PLASTIC MATERIALS IN ELECTRONIC COMPONENTS (Xenon Cable)
The aim of this project was to research the possibility of replacing metal parts to perform the function of electromagnetic screening of a connection with plastic conductors.
As a consequence of this project a product line has been created, making medium-voltage cabling for xenon headlights, which has provided jobs for more than 50 people.
GAITEK project
CONNECTIONS FOR LED SYSTEMS IN AUTOMOTION
The primary goal of this project was to develop an intermediate connection system to allow the use of LED technology in vehicle indicator lights designed to work with halogen technology.
Several systems of inter-connection were designed, enabling our clients to re-use old indicator lights while using LED technology at a very low cost.
PLUG AND PLAY CONNECTIONS IN LED LIGHTING SYSTEMS IN VEHICLES
A project pursued together with Tecnalia, the aim of which is to design a system of electromagnetic inter-connection for LED modules in vehicle lights, cutting assembly costs and offering a solution to several problems with existing systems.

AN INTEGRAL SOLUTION FOR PLANNING SOCIAL AND HEALTH RELATED CARE AND SERVICES AT HOME
The main objective for the ORKESTA Project is the deployment a new model of integrated in-home care using bespoke accessibility technologies fitted to the elderly people. Therefore, GUREAK has tied in with the Top Ten Basque technology, social and health related companies and institutions: Alcad, Caser residencial, Eurohelp consulting, Teknei, Tesa, Asuncion Klinika, Ingetek, Vicomtech, UPV/EHU and Aptes.
Compared with the latest responsive model, ORKESTA goes for a proactive model, predicting any incoming matters, while any agents involved in the care of the elderly have a better, more intensive tracking of their health and psychosocial situation.

REAL-TIME ADAPTATIVE DIGITAL ASSISTANT FOR DAILY OPERATIVE IN DENOK4.0 P+NA PROFILES
HAZITEK DENOK4.0 project, where GUREAK and LOTURA, along with the VICOMTECH RVCTI centre have joined forces to investigate the improvement of employability of people with disabilities with bigger needs of support (mental disability, mental illness…), towards granting these people the digital tools that allow them to be able to access to make unreachable tasks up to this moment or improving the critical competencies for the making of new tasks, either in the GUREAK productive facility or in services offered in client facilities. Definitely, that towards the advancement of the automation and demand of the market, they are able to maintain their jobs with the support of digital technologies.
Technologically and conceptually the platform will be composed by independent modules that are interconnected:
- Localization and orientation of people through Low Energy Bluetooth technology.
- Assistance to the worker through Spatial Augmented Reality technology (SAR).
- Profile analysis and adaptation of technology according to support needs of each person through Big DATA technology.
- Analysis and tracking of work and learning though Big DATA technologies.
