LanAukera TRAINING
Project co-funded by the European Social Fund (40%) and Gipuzkoa provincial authority (24%), within the FSE+ Programme in the Basque autonomous community, aimed at training and boosting the employability of people with disabilities. Different EHLABE organisations are taking part, among them GUREAK.
They work on the development and training of people, with DUAL TRAINING in the workplace, with a training contract, aimed at acquiring work-oriented skills and gaining a professional certificate.
TARGETS
6-YEAR TARGETS FOR THE PROJECT (2024-2029):
✓ An average of 8 dual training programmes a year in companies in a range of industries and activities (cleaning, cabling, hospitality, injection moulding, etc.)
✓Intake of 385 people (between 60 and 65 a year), with a contract (generally a training contract)
✓ 275 people gaining a professional certificate (45 people a year)
✓300 employees (50 employees per year of the project)
GUREAK BUDGET FOR THE PROJECT: 2.603.500 EUROS
This budget will allow more than 300 people to have a chance to train and boost their employability through a project:
Designed and created for people with disabilities, with an adapted methodology and a specialist training team.
Employment-oriented, with training that takes place in companies and at the workplace. Learning by doing.
With the option of gaining a professional certificate accrediting the training and experience acquired.
With a contract from the first day (training contract) and a good chance of getting a job at the end of the training period.
LanAukera PROMOTION

The project seeks job opportunities for people with disabilities, both in Gureak's own activities and in companies in its surrounding area, as well as in the field of public employment. To this end, LanAukera Training includes two lines of work (which in principle may be separate, but can also go hand in hand):
- Promotion of job opportunities for people with disabilities.
- Preparation and adaptation of the work environment, processes and positions.
TARGETS
6-YEAR TARGETS FOR THE PROJECT (2024-2029):
✓ 556 participants (92 people a year)
✓420 jobs (70 a year)
✓ 90 people (15 per year of the project) to boost their position on the job market (gaining more stable employment or finding jobs with better employment conditions)
GUREAK BUDGET FOR THE PROJECT: 2.402.720 EUROS
This budget will allow more than 500 people with disabilities to find a job or improve their position on the job market, thanks to:
The EGOKITUZ team, people with an expert profile who analyse jobs and processes to make adaptations and improvements in order to allow people with disabilities to join almost all kinds of work environments.
A role promoting employment in a range of fields (including new jobs in emerging, sustainable new sectors), working with companies and institutions to seek new job opportunities suitable for people with disabilities (from advice on adapting existing jobs to incorporate people with disabilities to fostering people's access to public employment).
